In yet another expose to strike the show, it is revealed that Bear did not, in fact, kill the snake in the episode. It was found dead by the side of the road. Given that the snake "moves" under a log, this means that the crew was dragging the snake on a string. It also turns out that his meal of badger was a bit more five-star than it seemed.
