Saw-cut ends to the bamboo

Confirmed: Bear's raft was tied together with rope.
While show consultant Celeste Cole[1] specifically admitted to using rope and a team of people not including Bear to build the raft over the course of a week and a half, she didn't specifically mention that a saw was used. However, the ends of the poles are visibly not cut by fire, but are cleanly sliced as if from a circular saw.
