Confirmed: A climbing rope was planted for Bear’s use in the chimney climbing scene

In the Copper Canyon episode a climbing rope was planted for Bear to use during the chimney climb scene. [1] The image to the right is a still frame taken from the video where he trying to squeeze through the small opening at the top. The video this still frame was taken from is not of high quality so the detail is difficult to make out. However, it does show Bear’s hand clasped around a rope extending up to the top of the opening. Even though the rope is only visible in a few frames, if the video is watched carefully, this rope is very apparent.

Update: The re-edited version admits to a "technical harness" in this scene.

Support: The enlarged image better shows the rope extending up into the light on the left side. Below the light, you can see Bear’s hand grasping the rope. Make a note of the play time on the still frame image. Follow the link to the youtube video and watch this section of it. There is no doubt that Bear is using a rope to climb up through the opening.
