Nathan Armstrong

Nathan started out as a Jaguar mechanic in Costa Mesa where he learned how to build automobiles. After a brief stint working on rockets with Arrowhead Products, he was hired by legendary concept builders Metalcrafters to work on cars including the PT Cruiser, the GM Precept, and the Cadillac XLR. He additionally worked on body and chassis engineering for the famous $300,000 Foose Hemisfear. After Metalcrafters, he moved on to Lead Project Engineer for Aria Group before founding his own company, A3Design Group, in 2004.

Nathan worked as the primary body and interior engineer for the Aptera Typ-1.
