The Aptera Typ-1h is described as having a 130 mpg (miles per gallon) capability, when driven at moderate speeds (perhaps 55 miles per hour), over moderately level roads, and with the battery exhausted.

However, since the battery in the Typ-1h can be charged by plugging into normal household electrical sockets (120 volt, 15 amp), the Typ-1h might run the first 40 (or so) miles without using any gas at all (very, very good mileage). If an 80 mile trip used the gas engine half of the time, the mileage could be around 260 mpg.
